Cutting Celery

Surface-sow indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost, keeping the fine seed moist and lightly covered. This leafy celery is grown for its strongly flavored foliage rather than thick stalks. Transplant to rich, consistently moist soil in full sun to partial shade and never let it dry out. Harvest outer stems and leaves as needed, and the plant will keep producing all season. In mild winters it survives to provide an early spring cut, and it stores well dried.
