'Apricotta' is an award-winning cosmos with soft apricot-pink blooms centered in yellow on tall, sturdy stems ideal for cutting. Direct sow after the last frost, or start indoors about a month early, barely covering the seed. Grow in full sun in average to lean soil, as rich ground produces foliage rather than flowers. It is drought tolerant once established and blooms prolifically from midsummer to frost. Deadhead or cut regularly to keep the plants flowering and to attract bees and butterflies.
