Опис

Plant in very well-drained, lean, dry soil in full sun; silver ponyfoot (Dichondra argentea) is a stunning silvery native groundcover and container trailing plant, native to dry rocky slopes of south Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico. The small, round, kidney-shaped leaves are densely covered in fine silver hairs that give the plant its brilliant silver color — one of the most intensely silver of any plant, creating a shimmering pool of metallic light in the garden. It is spectacular trailing from containers and hanging baskets, where the silver cascading stems create a waterfall effect. As a groundcover it stays low (2–4 inches) and spreads to cover rocky, dry areas. It thrives in heat and drought, requiring little to no irrigation once established. Excellent for edging, rock gardens, and container combos where its silver tone contrasts beautifully with deep purple or lime-green companions. Спосіб посадки: Розмноження живцюванням Відстань між рослинами: 12–18 дюймів Висота: 2–6 дюймів Дні до схожості: 14–21 Температура ґрунту для схожості: 18–24°C
