Pink Rain Lily (Rosy Zephyr Lily)

Plant bulbs 2–3 inches deep in well-drained, moderately moist soil in full sun to partial shade; pink rain lily is the most commonly grown zephyr lily in the South, producing soft rose-pink funnel-shaped flowers that emerge just days after summer and fall rainfall — an event that earns them the name 'rain lily.' The bulbs go dormant through winter and dry summers, then spring to life reliably after soaking rains from June through October. In zone 9–10 they may also bloom sporadically through winter with sufficient moisture. Plant in drifts of 20 or more for the most impactful display along path edges, in rock gardens, or at the front of borders. The bulbs naturalize readily and multiply over years into showy colonies.
