Опис

Dwarf Fothergilla is one of the finest native shrubs for four-season interest in the southeastern garden, native to wet pine savannas, pocosins, and moist, acidic coastal plain habitats from North Carolina to Alabama, producing fragrant, white, bottlebrush-like flower spikes of pure white stamens in March and April before the leaves emerge — among the most beautiful of all native spring-blooming shrubs. The broadly ovate, blue-green summer leaves are attractive in their own right; they turn to exceptional shades of crimson, orange, and yellow in fall, often with all three colors on a single leaf. Easy to grow in moist, well-drained, acidic soil in full sun to partial shade, Dwarf Fothergilla is compact enough for small gardens and is valuable as a foundation planting, border accent, or naturalized understory shrub. Provide acidic, consistently moist soil and avoid alkaline conditions, which cause chlorosis. Спосіб посадки: Висадка розсади Відстань між рослинами: 36–60 дюймів Висота: 24–48 дюймів Дні до схожості: 90–180 Температура ґрунту для схожості: 4–13°C
