Flame Violet (Peacock Plant)

Root stolon cuttings in moist potting mix and grow in bright indirect light to deep shade with high humidity — flame violet is a spectacular tropical groundcover from South America, closely related to the African violet, producing velvety, elliptic leaves with bronzy-copper, silver, and green iridescent patterns (the 'peacock' coloration) and brilliant scarlet-red tubular flowers with yellow throats throughout the warm season.
