Опис

Plant in well-drained, average soil in full sun; Brown Turkey is among the most widely grown figs in the South and UK, valued for its large, mild, brownish-purple fruits and its exceptional vigor. It is a two-crop fig, producing a small breba crop in June on old wood and a main crop in late summer on new wood. The tree grows vigorously and can reach 15–20 feet unpruned — maintain at 8–10 feet by annual tipping of tall canes in winter. The large, deeply lobed leaves provide striking tropical texture in the landscape. Brown Turkey is more tolerant of cool summers than most figs and produces reliably even when summer heat is limited, making it popular well north of its zone rating when given wall protection. Спосіб посадки: Висадка розсади Відстань між рослинами: 96–168 дюймів Висота: 96–240 дюймів
