The small, perfectly spherical, tightly quilled flowers are outstanding long-lasting cut flowers. Grow in full sun, stake the stems, and pinch young plants to encourage more blooms. Deadhead regularly and, in cold zones, dig and store the tubers over winter after the first frost blackens the foliage.
