Опис

Plant with the bulb neck at or just above the soil surface in well-drained, moist, fertile soil in full sun to partial shade; grand crinum lily is one of the most enduring and spectacular large-scale ornamental bulbs for coastal Gulf Coast landscapes, producing massive strap-like leaves and large, fragrant, spider-like clusters of white flowers with long, recurved petals and prominent red anthers on stout stems 2–3 feet tall — blooming repeatedly from spring through fall. A single well-established bulb produces a clump 4–5 feet wide with multiple bloom stalks simultaneously, creating a dramatic tropical effect. Crinum asiaticum is exceptionally salt tolerant — it is one of the few large ornamental plants that thrives in coastal beachfront conditions right to the edge of salt spray. It also tolerates periodic flooding and waterlogged soils remarkably well, making it valuable for low spots and wet areas where other plants struggle. Essentially indestructible once established; plants decades old are commonly found thriving without any maintenance in old Gulf Coast gardens. Спосіб посадки: Посадка цибулин Відстань між рослинами: 48–72 дюймів Висота: 36–60 дюймів

Avoid disturbing established clumps as transplanting sets the plant back significantly.
