Опис

Plant bulbs 2–3 inches deep in well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil in full sun to partial shade — copper lily is a charming, small-bulbed rain lily native to the coastal prairies and grassy roadsides of southeastern Texas and Louisiana, producing star-shaped, copper-pink to rosy-pink flowers on short scapes in late summer and fall following rain events. Like all rain lilies, the flowers appear seemingly overnight after summer storms or irrigation, lasting 2–3 days before fading, with successive flushes following each rain. The narrow, rush-like leaves are nearly evergreen in zone 9–10 and die back in hard freezes. It naturalizes freely in well-drained, open soils, spreading by both offsets and seed to form dense, floriferous colonies in lawn-edge plantings, rock gardens, and sunny to lightly shaded perennial borders. An outstanding low-maintenance bulb for the Gulf Coast that requires no irrigation once established in well-adapted soils. Спосіб посадки: Посадка цибулин Відстань між рослинами: 3–6 дюймів Висота: 6–12 дюймів
