Опис

Direct sow in spring in well-drained, dry, sandy soil in full sun — camphor daisy is a native coastal plain annual of the Gulf Coast, naturalized on barrier island beaches, coastal prairies, and sunny, sandy disturbed areas from Texas to Florida, producing masses of small, bright yellow daisy flowers from summer through fall on aromatic, distinctively camphor-scented foliage. The strong, medicinal camphor fragrance is distinctive and immediately recognizable; the plant is named for it. A fast-growing, tough annual that handles the extreme conditions of the Gulf Coast shore: salt spray, drought, nutrient-poor sandy soil, and reflected heat from sand. It self-sows readily to maintain colonies in coastal gardens and is excellent for naturalistic sandy, sunny gardens and coastal erosion-prone areas. Very low maintenance and requires no supplemental irrigation in coastal conditions. The flowers attract small bees and butterflies including skippers and sulfurs. Спосіб посадки: Посів у відкритий ґрунт Відстань між рослинами: 18–24 дюймів Висота: 24–48 дюймів Дні до схожості: 7–14 Температура ґрунту для схожості: 18–27°C
