'Arapaho' is an early-ripening erect thornless blackberry with medium-large berries containing small, unobtrusive seeds. Its self-supporting canes need minimal trellising, making it well suited to compact plantings and home gardens. Grow in full sun in well-drained soil and provide even moisture during the fruiting period for best size and flavor. Remove floricanes after harvest and thin new canes to five or six vigorous shoots per plant.
