Опис

Alligator Lily is a Florida endemic spider-lily found in wet flatwoods, freshwater marshes, and wet prairie margins of south and central Florida, producing elegant white flowers with reflexed petals and a distinctive fringed central cup (corona) characteristic of the Hymenocallis genus. Rare in cultivation despite being well suited to wet gardens, pond margins, and water features, Alligator Lily is a true South Florida native restricted to the peninsula and not found naturally anywhere else in the world. Plant bulbs 4–6 inches deep in wet, acidic, mucky to sandy, humus-rich soil in full sun to light shade near a water feature or rain garden; established clumps multiply steadily through bulb offsets to form impressive colonies in appropriate wet conditions. Alligator Lily is intolerant of drought and requires consistently moist to wet soil — it performs best in natural pond margins, wet flatwood restoration plantings, and South Florida water gardens. Спосіб посадки: Посадка цибулин Відстань між рослинами: 12–18 дюймів Висота: 12–24 дюймів Дні до схожості: 30–60 Температура ґрунту для схожості: 21–29°C
