Alaska Shasta Daisy

'Alaska' is a classic, long-lived Shasta daisy bearing large 3-inch white flowers with sunny yellow centers from summer into fall. Press seed onto the surface since it needs light to germinate, and keep it evenly moist until sprouts appear. Grow in full sun in well-drained soil for the sturdiest, most floriferous plants. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering, and the long stems make excellent cut flowers. Divide clumps every two to three years to maintain vigor.
