Опис

Red Baneberry is a native woodland perennial closely related to White Baneberry (Actaea pachypoda) and similarly arresting in fruit — clusters of brilliant, glossy red berries on slender stems ripen in late summer and persist into fall, providing vivid color in the shade garden at a time when most woodland plants are fading. Native to moist, rich, deciduous and mixed forests throughout much of North America, from sea level to mountain slopes, Red Baneberry blooms in spring with fluffy white flower spikes similar to those of its cousin before producing its distinctive red (occasionally white) berries that are highly poisonous to humans but consumed by some birds without apparent harm. Grow in consistently moist, deeply amended, humus-rich soil in full to partial shade; the large, compound, deeply lobed leaves provide bold texture throughout the growing season. Keep away from children and pets — all parts of this plant are toxic if ingested. Спосіб посадки: Висадка розсади Відстань між рослинами: 18–24 дюймів Висота: 18–30 дюймів Дні до схожості: 180–365 Температура ґрунту для схожості: 4–13°C
