Опис

White Baneberry, known as Doll's Eyes for its striking porcelain-white berries with a dark purple dot, is a bold native woodland perennial, native to rich, moist, deciduous forests throughout eastern North America from Nova Scotia to Georgia and west to Oklahoma, where it thrives in the deep shade of sugar maple, beech, and basswood forests. Fluffy white flower spikes appear in spring, followed by the distinctive white berries on thick, red-stalked clusters — the berries persist into fall and are visually spectacular, though all parts of the plant are highly toxic and the berries are potentially lethal. An excellent bold-textured foliage plant for the shade garden, with large, deeply divided compound leaves that provide attractive green structure from spring through fall dormancy; plant in deeply amended, moist, humus-rich soil and allow it to slowly spread into colonies. Never ingest any part of this plant. Спосіб посадки: Висадка розсади Відстань між рослинами: 18–24 дюймів Висота: 18–30 дюймів Дні до схожості: 180–365 Температура ґрунту для схожості: 4–13°C
